DIN986 Edelstahl 304 Hex Mutter mit Polyamid-Einsatz Selbstverriegelung Nylock Locknut mit Acorn Cap Cover Dome | Nylon Kappe Beschreibung

  1. High-Integrity, Triple-Barrier Locking Performance
    • Forged to DIN 986 from A2/18-8 (304) stainless steel, the hex body offers ≈ 700 MPa tensile strength and outstanding resistance to rust, mild acids, disinfectants, and salt-spray.
    • A permanently moulded PA 6/6 nylon insert delivers prevailing-torque values of ≥ 1.8 N·m on an M8 thread, maintaining clamp load after 1 000+ vibration cycles (MIL-STD-1312-7).
    • The integrated low-dome stainless cap fully encloses the stud, shielding it from impact, debris, and electro-chemical attack—while a secondary, removable colour-coded nylon protective cap (available from Würth & Bossard) adds aesthetic branding and scratch protection.
  2. Weitreichende Industrie- und Verbraucheranwendungen
    • Mobility & EV Systems: Locks battery-tray studs, e-bike axle bolts, and scooter steering columns without liquid thread-locker; stocked by McMaster-Carr, Fastenal, and Amazon for aftermarket kits.
    • Food-, Pharma- & Clean-Room Equipment: 304 stainless and FDA-compliant nylon meet hygienic standards for conveyor guards, bottling fillers, and autoclave carts—surviving wash-downs to 95 °C.
    • Renewable Energy & Marine Hardware: Secures PV-frame clamps, wind-turbine service ladders, and dock cleats; nylon insert blocks micro-movement that accelerates crevice corrosion in coastal climates.
    • Premium Furniture & Playground Builds: Provides a child-safe, snag-free termination on visible studs in flat-pack cabinetry, fitness rigs, and outdoor play sets; colour nylon caps (RAL/Pantone) blend with designer schemes.
  3. Fast & Technician-Friendly Handling
    • Standard ISO hex drive works with any spanner or socket; the nylon insert lets installers “spin on” by hand yet generates locking torque instantly—no separate washers, jam nuts, or chemical adhesives.
    • Low-dome profile (≈ 30 % shorter than DIN 1587 acorn nuts) reduces thread engagement distance, cutting assembly time by up to 25 %.
    • Supplied loose, in resealable poly-bags, or tape-and-reel for automated pick-and-place feeders—formats carried globally for seamless line integration.
  4. Proven Quality & Global Compliance
    • 100 % optical inspection checks nylon-insert depth, cap concentricity ≤ 0.03 mm TIR, and burr height < 0.05 mm; SPC data ready for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or PPAP Level 3 submissions.
    • Passivated per ASTM A967, then optionally electropolished or powder-coated in custom colours without altering thread tolerance.
    • Shipped with RoHS 3, REACH, and DFARS certificates, plus QR-coded box labels linking every batch to its melt lot—meeting stringent traceability demands in aerospace MRO, medical-device manufacturing, and semiconductor tooling.
